Happy 141st Birthday Tuskegee University

Fellow Tuskegee Alumni:

Today we celebrate the 4th of July.   Also, we celebrate the birth of our illustrious Tuskegee University.  In honor of this day, I hope everyone will take part in the 1881 Challenge. It began on July 1st and will end today at 12:59 pm.  Help make this year the best giving day yet by helping to reach the goal of 1,881 donors in 81 hours.  To join the challenge, visit http://tuskegee.edu/1881Challenge Give what you can. It’s about the amount, BUT more importantly, it’s about the number of alumni who give back.  This is what Corporations and the Government gauge when doling out money to HBCU’s. 

Congratulations to AriAnna Thomas as the recipient of the 2022 RDTAC Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.  AriAnna is a rising Senior majoring in Nursing with a minor in African-American Studies.  She is the daughter of Amanita Thomas.

​RDTAC, just a friendly reminder that the new fiscal year began in June.  If not paid already, please mail your dues to Melvin McCain at 111 Lewey Brook Drive, Cary, NC  27519 - $70 single, $130 couples.

The RDTAC is currently on Summer Hiatus.  The next meeting will be September 17th at 2:00 pm.  Platform information will be given at a later date.
