I sincerely hope each of you are enjoying your Summer thus far. Today we bid farewell to our 9th President, Dr. Charlotte P. Morris, and welcome our 10th President, Dr. Mark Brown. Dr. Brown’s tenure marks the first time in Tuskegee’s nearly 143-year history that an alum will lead the University. Dr. Brown’s tenure officially begins today. He is a retired Air Force Major General. RDTAC, please remember to take part in the 1881 Challenge-81 Hours of Giving this week. Log on the Tuskegee University site to select the 8 Funds available:
You can donate in increments of $50 or to make it interesting, donate your year of graduation, $18.81, $188.10, etc. Just GIVE. 😊 Please mark your calendars for the 100th TU Homecoming, November 9th. The RDTAC has already purchased our tailgate tent spot. The RDTAC 2025 calendar is currently being worked on by me and Henry Wall. We plan to have the calendars ready by the September meeting and of course, Homecoming. Lastly, dues are now due. Dues are $115, Couple and $75, Single.
